Where quiet contemplation meets an abstract sun-drenched backdrop. I really wanted warm oranges and earthy browns to evoke the earth and glow of the setting sun. I love the interplay of light and shadow on this feminine figure. The painting feels deconstructed, while yet in harmony and at peace.
